He wrote very, very little about sex and brought it up in a manner that seemed to have a certain level of acceptance of it given people often associate him with the free sex line of thought. We can use the free sex notion that you brought up. I don't know that it's appropriate to say he contradicted himself but that the truth just tended to be deeper than just relying one previous statement of his. As soon as you think his opinion is one thing he will go on to say another. So osho definitely called out many things that were in his view rigidities in other paths. But I do not think he was intending to be antagonistic to anything but rigidity of mind. So he would often do this with belief systems too so could seem to antagonize certain paths. A big thing osho attempted to help people do was to break through rigidity in their mind as a method of allowing their mind to melt into enlightenment. I'll add that osho is easily misunderstood. iiiii don't even know if iiiii view him as "good". Osho isn't one of my foremost teachers and is certainly not my guru.
